Developing circular green walls with integrated water purification.
Muuras puts wetlands on walls to grow greener cities. We are a young startup in the process of developing circular green walls with integrated water purification. Instead of drinking water and artificial fertilizer, Muuras uses nutrient-rich residential wastewater to nourish the green facade. By closing the local water and nutrient cycle, we will make living walls more affordable and sustainable.
At the same time, native delta ecosystems will be reintroduced to Dutch cities. Reintroducing these wetlands to urban settings will make cities more climate adaptive and biodiverse, while simultaneously insulating buildings and reducing water consumption.
