Experts in building floating foundations on water
FlexBase designs and implements floating foundations used to build on the water in a wide variety of applications for living, working and recreation. The FlexBase concept is based on the buoyancy of EPS (also referred to as polystyrene) and the structural properties of reinforced concrete. The company is the result of the knowledge and experience of Unidek, Europe’s largest manufacturer of EPS, and Dura Vermeer, one of the largest construction companies in the Netherlands. Both companies have been the initiators of the first floating greenhouse in Naaldwijk.
