DrainMix® is a sustainable and circular building material made from waste. The material consists of bottom ash that remains after incineration of residual waste. After processing, these bottom ash are suitable as building material for foundation and drainage. For example in sports fields, squares, parking spaces and walking paths. Drainmix® can be a solution for municipalities, among others, in achieving sustainability objectives.
It is a very strong and light secondary building material. Porous enough to collect a lot of water. A replacement for the current foundation (and sport-technical) layer. This makes the product interesting for climate adaption in the urban environment.
